Chad runs the landscaping division at Nature’s Edge.  When he’s not delivering supplies, building ponds, installing paver walkways and patios or planting shrubs and trees, Chad can be found at the garden center getting in Tyler’s way!  Chad gets stuck with the not so fun tasks of fixing the machinery and whatever else seems to break...

 

Oh well, at least he is good at getting food for the crew! 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

Then there’s Sissy Gube.  She is the mascot/lazy dog who spends most days sleeping in the garden center sun. If you guessed Bassett Hound, you’re right, but if you guessed Dachshund, you’re also right … Sissy is half hound, half wiener dog.  She loves attention and food and always seems to be in the way.

Last October, we took on a new addition to the garden center family.  Wilma is a rescued Bassett Hound and is slowly catching on to the ways of the greenhouse life.  Loud noises and new people have been somewhat of an adjustment for Wilma but she is starting to tolerate it here.  Did we say tolerate?  Well she puts on a good game face till the people food comes out then this place isn't so bad after all...

 

She seems to like to get dirty and her ears are always crusted with food and who knows what!
